From playing at a young age to coaching youth hockey, to creating a team that has stayed together for decades, Josh was fully committed to the sport. Under his guidance, the Aces bonded together overcoming a number challenging arenas, teams and players. Reflecting on over twenty years, it's evident through the laughter, unity, and hundreds of unforgettable stories, all shaped by Josh's dedication. His love for the game embodied the true spirit of hockey, defining the Michigan Aces.

Josh lost his battle with cancer November 13, 2023 however, his presence is felt in the locker room every time the Aces lace up the skates. His passing inspired the creation of the American Aces Foundation
